Less satisfying sex for women with diabetes

US researchers surveyed more than 2200 women aged 40–80 years – one in five of whom had diabetes – about sexual frequency and enjoyment.

Diabetic women taking insulin were more than twice as likely to report, and non-insulin treated diabetics were 40% more likely to report, low sexual satisfaction compared to women without diabetes.
