Measles alert to curb outbreak
Queensland, NSW and Victorian authorities have issued warnings after a spate of cases.
The latest warning comes after a passenger travelling from Brisbane to Sydney was confirmed last week to have the illness. The foreign tourist was the third confirmed measles case in Queensland in the past fortnight and became unwell after visiting Cairns on 16 August.
Authorities in Qld and NSW have issued alerts but said the risk to the public was very low.
