Medical marijuana 'does not promote use'

“Our study did not find increases in adolescent marijuana use related to Rhode Island’s 2006 legalisation of medical marijuana,” the authors said in a media statement, although they called for ongoing research.

The study was presented at the American Public Health Association Annual Meeting and Exposition earlier this month.
