Mental health survey needs doctors' support

The beyondblue-led initiative, which aims to assess the level of mental health issues, stresses and pressures faced by the profession, will see some 50,000 doctors and medical students receive a copy of the national survey in the coming weeks.

The call for doctors and medical students to get involved follows a poor response rate to a pilot version of the survey, which saw just 20% of surveys sent out to 3000 prospective participants returned.
