Monitoring shows no HPV vax issues

RESULTS from the first year of an enhanced surveillance program have not identified any safety concerns among children who received the HPV vaccine, Gardasil, as part of the national school-based HPV vaccination program.

One aim of the enhanced surveillance program, implemented by the TGA after the expansion of the HPV program in 2013 to include boys, is to improve monitoring of Gardasil.
