MS: switching from injectables seems safe

Patients with multiple sclerosis, who are stable on injectables, may be switched to oral agents without fear of an increased risk of relapse, an Australian-led study shows.

There was no difference in the occurrence of relapse in nearly four hundred patients, who switched to oral medication and a similar number who remained on injectables, at least in the first six months after the switch, the authors say.
