A leading paediatric neurologist has been disbarred from practising for four months, after being caught taking cocaine just before going on call.
Colin Ferrie, an internationally renowned authority on childhood epilepsy, was set up by UK tabloid the Mail on Sunday in December 2014. The newspaper had employed a male escort to contact the neurologist and suggest a meeting involving drugs.
