New guidelines for Alzheimer’s prevention

Seven new dietary and lifestyle guidelines could help doctors better communicate with patients about how to prevent Alzheimer’s disease.

The guideline authors, including University of Melbourne Professor Ashley Bush, have based their recommendations on substantial evidence of benefit and reasonable risk of harm, allowing room for amendments as scientific evidence evolves.
