New variation on popular treatment for anorexia nervosa

Parent-focused treatment may become the new preferred option for psychiatrists treating adolescents with anorexia nervosa, say Melbourne researchers.

They have conducted a randomised controlled trial of 107 patients aged 12-18 years randomised to either parent-focused treatment or family-based treatment for 18 sessions.
