'Once in a decade' diabetes strategy unveiled

The federal government’s new four-year national diabetes strategy aims to boost coordination of care between GPs and other health providers, while also cracking down on food and drink advertising.

Launching the 28-page strategy, federal Health Minister Sussan Ley said as many as one million people — 5% of Australian adults — are living with diabetes.
