Promising results for stem-cell pain study
Australian researchers have achieved promising results in a trial of stem cell treatment for neuropathic pain.
The Sydney group administered stem cells to 10 female patients aged 27 to 80 years, all of whom had been diagnosed with neuropathic trigeminal pain and had not responded well to other forms of treatment.
