Protecting future fertility

IT CAN be confronting for young people with a malignancy to learn that their cancer or its treatment might put their fertility at risk.

At an age when boys and young men might see fatherhood as something for the future, a diagnosis of cancer puts it on the list of things they need to learn about and manage, in the midst of a distressing time in their lives.

Steps can be taken to protect and preserve fertility, so this is an
