Pubertal timing associated with diabetes

A large-scale international study has uncovered genetic associations between the timing of puberty and its links to diseases such as diabetes and breast cancer.

The 180,000 woman study shows Menarche is a heritable trait and determined by more than 100 different genetic signals.
