Push to improve stroke outcomes in children
More than half of childhood stroke survivors have long-term neurological impairment, Australia’s first paediatric stroke guidelines say.
Specialists have developed more than 60 recommendations in a bid to improve outcomes, which currently differ widely across tertiary paediatric hospitals.
