Rather die early than take tablets

According to a recent study, nearly one in three people don’t think having to take daily medication is worth the effort.

Researchers at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and the University of North Carolina questioned 1000 people recruited online on how much time they would be willing to forfeit at the end of their lives in order to avoid taking a daily pill to prevent cardiovascular disease (CVD).

Participants were asked to assume the pills had no side effects and no costs.
