Regional study shows forced sex is common

Male interviewers asked men whether they had ever forced a woman to have sex, or had sex with a woman too “drunk or drugged” to consent.

The lowest prevalence of non-partner rape was in rural Bangladesh and the highest prevalence was in Bougainville, PNG, the researchers found.
