Relief from hot flushes can be found in soybean-rich products

In a systematic review and meta-analysis taking in 19 trials, the researchers found that having a median 54mg of isoflavones per day over a period of six weeks to 12 months significantly reduced the frequency and severity of flushes by 20.6% and 26% respectively.

In a media statement they said the useful dose was equivalent to about 200g of tofu or two glasses of soy milk daily.
