Review of elderly on statins needed

Although there is good evidence of a reduction in vascular events and mortality in older patients with existing coronary heart disease, the risk of frailty and disability was increased, researchers from Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital wrote in the latest edition of Australian Prescriber.
