Rheumatologists overlook pain in RA patients

Rheumatologists need to ask their patients about their pain levels when reviewing patients with rheumatoid arthritis, Sydney and Melbourne rheumatologists say.

Dr Bethan Richards from the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and colleagues studied over 1400 RA patients and found while 85% were on biologics, more than 95% reported some degree of pain.
