Sjögren’s diagnosis may bring relief: study

People with symptoms of Sjögren’s syndrome have a better quality of life once they have been diagnosed with the condition, a registry study shows.

Comparing 1051 Sjögren’s patients with 1350 who had symptoms, such as dry eyes and dry mouth, but had not been diagnosed, researchers showed the former scored better on all eight questions in a health-related quality of life (HRQoL) survey.
