Show regional leadership, hepatitis expert urges

Australia must improve its poor hep C treatment rates and do much more in the region to manage the disease, says a leading international hepatitis advocate.

In a wide-ranging interview with Gastroenterology Update Charles Gore, President of the World Hepatitis Alliance, said it was in Australia’s own self interest to be doing far more to prevent and manage hepatitis infection across southeast Asia.
