Student-run clinic seeking volunteer practice nurses
The Realising Education and Access in Collaborative Health (REACH) project is a primary healthcare clinic that has been set up and run by healthcare students from the University of Melbourne.
The clinic is the first of its kind in Australia and is run in conjunction with Doutta Galla Community Health.
Medical, nursing, physiotherapy and social work students work together to treat people for free at the clinic.
However, the clinic is looking for more primary care nurses to take on supervision roles.
