Study shows the worst vascular risk factors for dementia
Middle-aged people with vascular risk factors are at higher risk for later dementia, according to a 25-year study of 16,000 Americans.
The study confirms previous findings that highlight the dangers of diabetes and hypertension when it comes to long-term cognitive health.

Significantly, the researchers also discovered a link between dementia and prehypertension, which had not been evident before.
