Surprising results from fish oil study

People with knee osteoarthritis get more benefit from low-dose fish oil than high doses, an Australian study suggests.

The double-blinded trial of 202 patients randomised to either 4.5g or 0.45g omega3 fatty acids per day found that although both groups improved at two years, WOMAC pain and function scores were better in the low-dose arm.
