Clinical case

A 46-year-old man presented with a painful skin coloured lump over the left distal interphalangeal joint of the second toe (Figure 1).

He had been referred for further management of a possible ‘wart’ that had not responded to several sessions of liquid nitrogen treatment. What is your spot diagnosis?
