Undiagnosed arthritis common in psoriasis patients
An Australian study has found high rates of undiagnosed psoriatic arthritis (PsA) in patients presenting with psoriasis.
The study looked at 459 patients with no prior diagnosis of PsA presenting to dermatology clinics in Sydney and Melbourne. Ten percent were found to have PsA, after screening and referral to a rheumatologist.
