Urgent review access needed for head/neck cancer patients

Head and neck cancer survivors seeking early review have a 20-fold rate of recurrence compared with those under routine surveillance, Australian research finds.

The study looked at all head and neck cancer patients assessed at Melbourne’s Monash Medical Centre between April and September 2013.
