Vampires fear coming out of the coffin

PEOPLE who live as vampires fear that disclosure to doctors and allied health professionals will lead to being labelled as having a mental illness or being a threat to the public, a study shows.

Interviews with 11 people who identify as ‘real’ rather than ‘lifestyle’ vampires show they are concerned that revealing their orientation will have repercussions on their family or work life.
