Viagra unlikely to cause melanoma

MEN taking oral erectile dysfunction (ED) drugs such as Viagra can be reassured that the medication is unlikely to cause melanoma, researchers say.

A large case control study in Sweden confirms there is an association between taking phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors and malignancy, but indicates it is more about higher-income men having more leisure time in the sun and greater health-seeking behaviour.
