Wake-up call for GPs on asthma

ALMOST one in three Australians with asthma have such poor symptom control that they have to rush to the emergency department or GP, a study shows.

The online survey of 2686 adults with asthma found that almost half had poor symptom control and 29% reported seeking urgent medical help in the past year.
