Weather link to back pain a lot of hot air

Australian researchers have disproved a theory that cold and wet weather increases the risk of lower-back pain.

There’s no association, they say, between back pain and temperature, humidity, air pressure, wind direction or precipitation.

There is a link with wind speed, but this is clinically insignificant, according to their case-crossover study of 993 patients seen at primary care clinics in Sydney.
