Whey to go in type 2

Whey protein before meals could help improve blood glucose control for patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D), a small study shows.

Study participants consuming the protein had post-meal sugar spikes reduced by 28% and a 96% improvement in insulin response, according to research published in Diabetologia.
