Work-life balance more likely to cause conflict for women

The survey of 900 doctors and their employed partners drawn from across the US showed 44% of doctors, and 56% of their partners, had experienced conflict between performing their work duties and home responsibilities in the last three weeks.

Doctors’ conflicts were resolved in favour of their work responsibilities 28% of the time, while their partners favoured work just 20% of the time.
Female doctors were 35% more likely to have work and home conflicts than men.
