Butt to run mental health commission
The former CEO of the AGPN is to take over running the National Mental Health Commission.
David Butt (pictured), who led the AGPN for three years, is currently a deputy secretary at the Federal Department of Health.
The National Mental Health Commission has been tasked with reviewing mental health programs funded by the government, non-government and private sectors.
The aim is to determine whether they are adequately supporting patients and their families.
He will become the commission's CEO temporarily while a permanent replacement is sought.
