MJA appoints new editor-in-chief

PROFESSOR Nicholas Talley, president of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, will have another role to add to his extensive resumé come December: editor-in-chief of the Medical Journal of Australia.

Publisher AMPCo announced Professor Talley's appointment on Monday morning, some five months after the previous editor, Professor Stephen Leeder, was sacked amid a row over the outsourcing of production to global publisher Elsevier.
