Why we must have a back-up plan for PLAN
The best-laid plans of mice and men, and of the RACGP, can go awry.
The much-maligned Planning, Learning And Need (PLAN) activity, the compulsory backbone of CPD points, has an attractive logic. It offers a narrative that is hard to resist or refute.
We are to consider our community and to reflect on their needs. Then to consider gaps in our knowledge and engage in learning activities designed to close those gaps. Finally, we reflect on the process, until it’s time to start the process again. There’s lots of reflecting.
