Lewis, a 63-year-old Caucasian male, presents with a three-year history of multiple, slow-growing and painless nodules on the soles of both feet.

He used to be a dancer and was previously told that scar tissue from posterior tibial tendonitis many years ago was the cause of the nodules.

Topical cortisone injections effectively slowed down the enlargement of the nodules in the first two years.

However, over the past few months, he has begun to feel discomfort, including claudication-like pain in his lower legs during long walks.
