Feng is a 66-year-old female who presents for review of palpitations, on a background of atrial fibrillation and hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM).

Feng has previously had three episodes of palpitations. The first time, eight years ago, she was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation secondary to hyperthyroidism and treated with carbimazole for one year.
