Liu is an 82-year-old man who is brought in by his son, who is his carer, after experiencing increasing falls, bilateral hand tremor and slowed gait for over a year. These have significantly worsened over the past month.

Liu’s symptom progression includes increasingly frequent falls, particularly falling backwards, and progressive dysphagia when drinking water. He now requires assistance with feeding.
