Why can’t this patient see properly?

Terry a 27-year-old university student, presents complaining of blurred vision in his right eye for the past two hours.
Four days prior, he sustained a moderately displaced, right tibial spiral fracture, after a collision during a soccer match.
At that time, he was admitted to hospital, and underwent open reduction and internal fixation of the fracture.
Terry was advised that the surgery had gone well, without any complications. There is planned follow-up with his local fracture clinic. When he collided in his soccer match, there was no head or eye injury. He had an eye test prior to the injury and was told he had perfect vision by the optician.
