Desperate to discuss everything to do with skin? Sign up for this group.
This is the place where dermatologists and GPs come together to share interesting patient cases, debate hot topics, ask questions, get answers and learn from each other.
Dr Samantha Eisman, a dermatologist in Melbourne who has an interest in hair and nail disorders is leading the group. Eight of her colleagues will also be acting as group leaders, making this a must-visit group.
The focus is on helping all doctors improve their management of dermatological conditions – rather than as a forum to get help with specific diagnoses.
AusDoc community managers will also share dermatology-related news, clinical features and quizzes, as well as relevant research and articles from across the internet, to help you stay up to date with best practice.
Don't forget to bookmark the Dermatology Group's page so you can access it easily. If you have any issues please contact: [email protected]
Part of AusDoc's mission to become a must-visit medical knowledge community is to encourage respectful debate and provide a platform for healthy discussion.
In a bid to ensure real-time responses, all posts and comments are published unmoderated, which means you can post and comment quickly as the conversation continues.
However, we will be post-moderating all posts and comments, and where they breach medical and media laws, we will remove them.
We also do not tolerate abuse, threats or promotion for commercial gain, and these types of posts will also be removed when we deem necessary.
As a general guide, posts and comments will be removed if they:
- Breach patient privacy laws

- Are defamatory or inflammatory
- Contain threats or personal attacks
- Are inappropriate for a professional site
- Are off topic
- Include personal information such as addresses, phone numbers and emails
Posting anonymously does not protect you from liability for potential defamation. We also apply Godwin's law.
Please be kind to each other. There is enough misery in the world.
