Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver general medical care to clients with diverse health and social needs.
- Coordinate care for chronic conditions and facilitate specialist referrals.
- Prescribe pharmacotherapy, including opiate replacement therapy (training provided if needed) and educate clients on healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with the Althea team such as participating in team meetings and support outreach initiatives for at-risk groups.

What We’re Looking For
- A flexible, compassionate GP who values working with vulnerable populations.
- AHPRA-registered Medical Practitioner with RACGP Fellowship (or equivalent).
- Experience in general practice, ideally with at-risk or complex clients and knowledge of chronic disease, AOD and mental health.
- Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally respectful care.
- Willingness to become an authorised opiate replacement prescriber
- Current medical indemnity insurance
