Your Role
The Executive Director of Strategic Medical Services (EDSMS) is a MO5 Medical Officer position that reports to the Surgeon General and Commander Joint Health of the Joint Health Command. The EDSMS role at JHC would work across the command and the Defence enterprise, alongside the Deputy Surgeon General and Directors General, providing expert senior medical leadership of strategic clinical quality and risk management, strategic projects and health information governance and act as the professional lead for the clinical workforce within the Defence health enterprise.
