The opportunity


Are you a Rural Generalist GP/VMO looking for a role with structured rotational rosters that balance generous earnings, rewarding medicine, and genuine lifestyle time?


At Ochre Medical Centre Bourke, you’ll provide vital GP services alongside VMO duties at the Bourke Multipurpose Service (MPS), located next door. This integrated setup lets you move seamlessly between clinic and hospital, supported by experienced nurses and collaborative hospital teams.


With flexible rotational rosters, you’ll enjoy extended breaks while still making a meaningful impact in rural healthcare.



What’s on Offer


Package options:




  • 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off  earn up to $332,500 p.a.

    • Same daily GP billings & on-call rates
    • Housing, car, and flights included

  • 3 weeks on / 1 week off earn up to $498,750 p.a.

    • Same daily GP billings & on-call rates
    • Housing, car, and flights included

  • Moratorium reduction: MM7 (RA5 scaling) – reduces moratorium to 5–6 years

What We’re Looking For



  • Vocationally Registered GP (FRACGP or FACRRM)
