A 4cm oral lipoma is quite a mouthful for a seven-year-old boy.

This patient presented to a Pakistani hospital with a painless mass on the right side of the floor of his mouth that had been growing for three years.

It had displaced his tongue to the left, causing a speech impediment and altered phonation.

The 3cm × 3cm × 4cm mass was pinkish, soft, mobile and non-tender and did not transilluminate.
