Medical Must-See: Doctors do a double take at giant cardiac finding
A routine chest X-ray uncovered a giant calcified left ventricular pseudoaneurysm in an asymptomatic patient in India.
The woman, in her 60s, was referred for evaluation after a large cardiac opacity was found incidentally on imaging.
She had a history of ischaemic heart disease and had undergone CABG 10 years earlier.
But she was currently asymptomatic and denied chest pain, dyspnoea, palpitations, syncope or bleeding manifestations, said doctors from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Bathinda, Punjab.
