Medical Must-See: Doctors see double during appendicectomy

While two for the price of one is usually a great deal, a 36-year-old man got more than he bargained for with two inflamed appendices.
Doctors made the surprising discovery after the patient presented to ED at the Ayoun Al Jawa General Hospital in central Saudi Arabia.
He reported three days of sharp right iliac fossa pain, which had migrated from the periumbilical region, as well as nausea, anorexia and vomiting.
The man had no urinary symptoms, altered bowel habits, chronic illness or history of surgery, the doctors wrote in Cureus.
