Medical Must-See: First case of giant malignant melanoma on the leg

The importance of tailoring care to each patient has been made all too clear for a team of US internists whose patient had a giant malignant melanoma on his leg.
The 63-year-old presented to HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, with a painful mass just above his knee that had been growing for a year.
Other symptoms included fatigue, palpitations, anorexia, abdominal distention and lower extremity oedema.
The man also had a smaller second mass on his left arm that had become noticeable a few months prior, the doctors wrote in Cureus.
