In a bizarre case of life imitating art, a stabbing victim discovered there was more to his flesh wound than met the eye after doctors pulled a free-floating “wandering” knife from his abdomen.
Reminiscent of the overly confident Black Knight in the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the patient made no mention of the sutured wound on his right abdomen when presenting to ED.
