Medical Must-See: Sex life ‘help’ during lockdown ends in eruption

In an attempt to bolster his love life during lockdown, a newly engaged man turned to over-the-counter assistance. A move that culminated in a life-threatening eruption.
More than a week after taking the medication, the 52-year-old became febrile (38°C), with flu-like symptoms.
Two days later, red-purple macules began to develop on his extremities, mouth and genitals, progressing to blisters (A, B and C). He also noted detachment of the skin and mucous membranes in these areas, as well as painful erosions.
He finally presented to an ED in Greece also complaining of a three-day history of singultus.
